 Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Super Austenitic Stainless Steel and exotics like Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy etc.

Features:
  • Double Body Sealing ensures positive body joint sealing against pipeline stresses. Also beneficial in fugitive emission and vacuum applications.
  • Multiple Sealing Stem with an additional set of graphite packing which can be mechanically loaded enhances stem sealing capabilities to atmosphere assisting in fugitive emission and vacuum applications.
  • ISO-5211 Top flange is available on all valves, enabling on-site actuator mounting and use of standard mounting hardware.
  • Blow out proof stem using a machined shoulder which ensures stem cannot “blow out” under pressure.
  • Antistatic design using spring loaded balls in stem which ensures constant contact between ball & stem and stem & body dissipating any static charge generated.
  • Fire Safe design valves are Virgo’s standard offering conforming to API 607 and API 6FA. Valves are tested and Fire Safe certified by Lloyds Register.
  • Valves with double piston effect seats, extended stems, valves for underground applications etc. also available.
In-House High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) coating facility.
Virgo is one of the few valve companies in the world which boasts of an in-house HVOF coating facility to do metal coating of the ball and seats for Virgo’s metal seated ball valves.

Coatings available are Chrome Carbide and Tungsten Carbide achieving very high hardness values of 70+ HRC , bond strengths of upto 25,000 psi and can be used in applications up to 815 deg C / 1500 deg F. These coatings have extremely good wear and abrasion resistance at high temperature.
